From 2–5 June 2026 in Nairobi, the Government of Kenya hosts a joint global gathering: the Global Data Festival & Kenya Space Expo Conference (KSEC). Under the theme “Powering Resilience, Innovation, and Partnership through Data and Technology”, the event brings together government, policy makers, public sector, private sector, academia, industry professionals, multilateral intergovernmental and non-governmental organisations, investors, innovators, enthusiasts and the wider public to showcase how space intelligence, data, and emerging technologies can deliver practical, equitable impact for people and the planet. The event is expected to bring together over 2,000+ professionals, thought leaders, and decision-makers from over 80 countries.
Event Objectives
Guided by a commitment to equity, inclusion, and positive real-world impact, the
event transforms urgency into effective action. Through it, we will:
- Drive investment in sustainable data and space systems by showcasing value for
development and resilience. - Advance inclusive data governance by promoting equity, integrity, and
