RCMRD is Recruiting Interns to Support its Geospatial Developmental Goals

The Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD) under the Global Monitoring for Environment and Security (GMES) and Africa programme is recruiting Interns to support its objective to develop geospatial applications and services using Earth Observation (EO) data and products. The programme addresses African needs in water, natural resources, marine and coastal areas, and global needs to secure the environment, mitigate climate change and foster civil security. 

Furthermore, the GMES and Africa programme, co-financed by the European Commission and African Union, was established to advance the African Space Policy and Strategy framework and promote the continent’s space science and technology programme to ensure socio-economic development.

In addition, applicants must Include a CV and write a short motivation letter detailing why they would like to work under this programme and highlighting the skills they will bring on board.
