IAF Global Space Conference on Climate Change (GLOC 2026) to Be Held in Kigali, Rwanda

The International Astronautical Federation (IAF), in partnership with the Rwanda Space Agency (RSA), is pleased to announce the second edition of the Global Space Conference on Climate Change (GLOC 2026), scheduled to take place in Kigali, Rwanda, from June 2 to 4, 2026.

Under the theme “Uniting Space and Earth for Climate Resilience,” GLOC 2026 will convene the global community of space and climate stakeholders to explore how space-based technologies and innovations can advance climate adaptation, mitigation, and sustainable development.

Building on the success of GLOC 2023, this upcoming edition will provide a critical status update, highlighting key progress, ongoing challenges, and future pathways for leveraging space in climate action.
