The South African Radio Observatory(SARAO) is recruiting a software engineer on a permanent contract. The successful candidate will be part of the development team at the facility in Cape Town, Western Cape, to work as part of the team writing the software that controls and monitors the telescopes. The successful candidate will also join the team to research and evaluate requirements for existing and new software applications and to test, maintain, research, elevate, and develop software solutions to meet the requirements.
