UNOOSA has an Opening for a Science and Technology Intern

The United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) has an opening for a Science and Technology Intern to join its Earth Observation for Water Management, Space Applications Section, I. The Office for Outer Space Affairs OOSA-Space Applications Section internship is for two months, with an opportunity for an extension of up to six months, depending on the office’s needs and the intern’s availability. The internship is UNPAID and full-time.

Education

To qualify for an internship with the United Nations Internship Programme, the following conditions must be met:

Work Experience

No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Programme. Your training, education, advanced course work or skills should benefit the United Nations during your internship.

Languages

English and French are the working languages of the United Nations. Fluency in English, i.e. oral and written proficiency, is required. Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage.

Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
