Registration open for the GGPEN Satellite Communication course

Registration for the Satellite Communication Course: Installation and Maintenance of VSAT Antennas is now open. The training is promoted by the Management Office of the National Space Program (GGPEN) in partnership with the Telecommunications Institute (ITEL).

During the course, the trainee will know the importance and usefulness of satellite communication, as well as learn how to install, configure and know the maintenance procedures for a VSAT antenna in the C and Ku bands. You will also be privy to information concerning the launch of the AngoSat-2 satellite.R

The course will be taught in person at CITEL and goes for Kz 35,000.00 (thirty-five thousand kwanzas), from April 12th to May 7th, 2021

Interested parties must pre-register using the online form https://forms.office.com/r/AA0xrPAqEA or visit the CFITEL facilities in person. The deadline for pre-registration is April 9, 2021.

After completing at least 70% of the course, the student will receive the Certificate of Approval “Specialist in Installation and Maintenance of VSAT Antennas”, issued by the Telecommunications Institute (ITEL) and the National Space Program Management Office (GGPEN).
