SGAC has an Opening for a Commercial Space Project Group Co-Lead

The Space Generation Advisory Council [SGAC] has a vacancy for a volunteer to become a co-lead of the commercial space project group. The new co-lead will work with the current co-lead, José Ferreirs, to support the activities of the project group, and will report to the project group coordinators Alessandra Vernile and Joshua Critchley-Marrows.

Responsibilities

SGAC encourages Project Group Co-Leads to take personal initiative within their roles to:

Project group co-leads will report to the Project Group Coordinators Alessandra Vernile and Joshua Critchley-Marrows and interact with the co-leads of other project groups for collaborations.

Estimated time commitment: On average, 3 – 5 hours per week

Necessary Qualifications

Project group co-leads are appointed for a term of two years and may serve two consecutive terms. Project group co-leads may serve a maximum of two terms. The position will have a probationary period of three months.

Applications close on 25 August 2021. SGAC will review applications between 25 August-7 September 2021, and successful applicants will be notified for an interview between 8-18 September 2021. On 25 September 2021, SGAC will announce the outcome of the interview.
