SGAC is Calling for NPoCs for African Countries

The Space Generation Advisory Council seeks applications from interested individuals to be their respective countries’ National Point of Contact (NPoCs). The NPoCs are expected to form a local team that coordinates SGAC activities at the national level. Each country can have up to two NPoCs who will work together to coordinate activities in the country.

Responsibilities 

In summary, selected applicants would be responsible for creating awareness about the SGAC. They will assist in the spread of space education. In addition, they will be responsible for informing the SGAC about current developments in their respective countries. It should be noted that the executive office has to approve all presentations made on behalf of the SGAC, including using the SGAC logo.

The voluntary role is for two years and renewable for two years, depending on performance. The expected time commitment is two to seven hours a week. This depends on the nature of the activities that the NCoP would participate in on a particular week.

Necessary Qualifications and Skills 

In addition to the above, applicants must be SGAC members.SGAC is seeking applicants with a background in the space sector. If you are passionate about the space sector or want to engage with the sector and are eager to help others with their professional and personal development.
