14th AARSE International Conference

The 14th AARSE International Conference (AARSE 2024), Earth Observations and Geospatial Science in Service of Sustainable Development Goals, will be held in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, organised by University Félix Houphouët-Boigny from 26- 30 November 2024.

Organised by the African Association of Remote Sensing of the Environment (AARSE) and the University Félix Houphouët-Boigny through the Centre Universitaire de Recherche et d’Application en Télédétection (CURAT) and themed “Earth observation: pillar of Africa sustainable socioeconomic development,”  the conference will be a significant event in the African and international EO and geospatial community in 2024.

The conference will explore sub-themes such as Environmental monitoring, blue economy, marine and coastal ecosystem management, climate change mitigation and adaptation strategy, smart agriculture, urban planning and infrastructure development, disaster management, water resources management, health and diseases monitoring, transportation and connectivity, food security, and low-cost observation technology.

    • Issue of Preliminary Programme: July 2024
    • Registration Opening: July 2024
    • Deadline for full paper submission: 30th August 2024
