The Kenya Space Agency is a state corporation established under the Ministry of Defence with the mandate to promote, coordinate and regulate space-related activities in the country. The Agency is developing the Draft Kenya Space Bill 2023 that will guide the Space Sector to harness the potential of space science and technology while adhering to international Space Law and promoting global best practices.
The Constitution of Kenya 2010 requires the Government to involve the public in formulating policies and legal instruments by requesting and receiving views and opinions from the public.
Thus, the Kenya Space Agency invites the public to participate in this process by submitting views and/or comments on the Draft Kenya Space Bill 2023.
