High Energy Astrophysics in Southern Africa (HEASA 2024) Conference
October 2, 2024 @ 8:00 am - October 4, 2024 @ 5:00 pm
The High Energy Astrophysics in Southern Africa 2024 (HEASA 2024) conference will be hosted by the School of Physics, University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), at the Wits Rural Facility from October 2-4, 2024, in Mtunzini, Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa.
The High Energy Astrophysics in Southern Africa (HEASA) 2024 will be the eleventh conference in the annual series “High Energy Astrophysics in Southern Africa”. The conference aims to bring together scientists from Africa and beyond who are interested in high-energy astrophysical phenomena.
HEASA 2024 will delve into the most cutting-edge topics in high-energy astrophysics, including theoretical aspects, multi-wavelength observations, and multi-messenger studies of astrophysical sources. These sources span a wide range, from active galactic nuclei (AGNs) to cataclysmic variables (CVs), and will also explore modern aspects of Astro-particle physics.
