Several private individuals in the space industry have offered to set up a scholarship to cover the registration fee for all Black, including African and Afro-descendant, students, and young professionals attending the SpaceGen United.
SpaceGen United is the Space Generation Advisory Council’s (SGAC) very first online Congress! It will be a gathering of more than 150 participants, experts from across the space industry as well as SGAC Alumni, all during the course of a week.
Please note: To be considered for this scholarship you just need to apply to be a SpaceGen United Delegate. No other step is required.

How to Apply
- All potential scholarship recipients must have applied and have been accepted as SpaceGen United delegates. Check here to apply to be an SGU delegate.
- The scholarship is open to all students and young professionals that identify as Black, including African and Afro-descendant, from any UN Member or observer State.
- Participants must be SGAC members (registered on the SGAC website) between the age of 18 and 35 years as of July 26, 2020.
If selected as an SGU delegate, you will be notified via email to facilitate the scholarship.

Award
Awardees will receive free registration to the SpaceGen United (SGU) event in July 2020.
Liability
- Organizers shall not be responsible in the event that SpaceGen United is canceled.
- The award is non-transferable and not valid for another event or individual.
