Angola Space Agency, GGPEN opens registration to those interested in having practical experience with space projects to participate in the Cansat mini-course (small satellites) during the FITITEL 2019 – ITEL Technology Fair, which will take place from 4th to 6th of December at the Telecnologia Institute’s premises. in Luanda.
Cansat is a representation of a real, miniature, low-mass satellite, approximately 300g. The challenge for students is to fit all major subsystems found on a satellite, such as power, payload, trip computer, and communication, into one volume of a soda can.
During the short course, participants will be able to experience many aspects of a real space mission, such as defining mission objectives, designing CanSat, integrating components, programming the onboard computer, testing and analyzing telemetry data.
To participate, participants must be in the top 30 and be connected to the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) areas.
The Technological Innovation Fair was conceived by the direction of the Telecommunications Institute in the mid-1990s, with the aim of demonstrating, through projects, the skills acquired by students to society in general and in particular to companies in the Telecommunications sector. to attract them and recruit the best students in the job market.
