The African Group on Earth Observations (AfriGEO), in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Technology and Innovation, is hosting its 7th AfriGEO symposium in Swakopmund, Namibia, between 18 – 23 September 2023. In addition, AfriGEO will feature three parallel pre-symposium trainings hosted by Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc (ESRI), Digital Earth Africa and GEO Land Degradation Neutrality Flagship (GEO-LDN) and CBAS between 18 and 19 September 2023, followed by a field excursion (optional).
