The third edition of ClimSA23, titled “Building Bridges for Climate Services: Advancing Stakeholder Dialogue to Enhance Regional Resilience in Vulnerable Countries,” will be hosted by the Climate Services and Related Application Programme (ClimSA) in collaboration with the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS), African Union Commission (AUC), Indian Ocean Commission (IOC), and the Government of the Republic of the Seychelles.
The forum will adopt a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend either in-person or virtually. However, the in-person event will take place exclusively in Mahe, Seychelles, and attendance will be strictly limited to invited guests.
The main objective is to raise awareness of the benefits of climate services for end-users in advancing dialogue among stakeholders through the mechanism of feedback, synergies and complementarities, particularly in relation to the operation of the RCCs and their Climate Services Information Systems.
