The International Summer School on Global Satellite Navigation Systems(GNSS) 2020, which will take place from the 7th to the 12th of September, at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology (TUMSAT) – Japan. Candidates who are interested in participating can apply for a scholarship that will cover expenses for the ticket (round trip), accommodation and course fee, until the next 17th of February.
Registration is open to beginners with a master’s level (preferably those who specialize in electronics or Information and Communication Technologies), young researchers and instructors involved in the GNSS field.
To apply for the scholarship, it is necessary to send an email to yasuda@kaiyodai.ac.jp with the following scanned documents:
- CV
- Graduation certificate;
- Transcription with the student’s records;
- English skill certificate (TOEFL, IELTS or TOEIC score);
- Recommendations from two responsible persons;
- Details of your institute (responsible person, etc.);
The registration form must be completed here . The results will be informed to the candidates by e-mail by the end of April.
The event is organized by the Faculty of Marine Technology (TUMSAT), co-organized by the Japan Positioning, Navigation and Moment Institute (IPNTJ) and sponsored by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).
