The High Energy Physics, Cosmology and Astrophysics Theory (HEPCAT) group in the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics at the University of Cape Town (UCT) invites applications to visit and collaborate with group members. The group has 2 core faculty members – Amanda Weltman and Shajid Haque and associate members include Jeff Murugan, Jon Shock, Julien Larena, Will Horowitz and Kurt van der Heyden.
The department will consider visits of senior PhD students and postdoctoral researchers for up to 6 months and both short term faculty visits as well as hosting self-funded sabbatical visitors.
