Call for Abstracts: IAF Global Space Conference on Climate Change (GLOC 2026)

The International Astronautical Federation (IAF), in partnership with the Rwanda Space Agency (RSA), is pleased to announce the second edition of the Global Space Conference on Climate Change (GLOC 2026), scheduled to take place in Kigali, Rwanda, from June 2 to 4, 2026. In this regard, members of the GLOC 2026 International Programme Committee are inviting researchers, practitioners, thought leaders, students and professionals to submit abstracts that reflect innovative ideas and solutions across a diverse array of topics, including;

  • Climate Adaptation and Resilience
  • Greenhouse Gas Monitoring and Impact Assessment
  • Big Data, AI, Machine Learning & Digital Innovations
  • Green Energy Solutions
  • Service Development and Data Access
  • Disasters and Emergency Management
  • Climate Policy, Good Governance, and the SDGs
  • Technological Advancements and Innovation
  • Economy, Finance, and Investments for Climate Goals
  • Outreach, Education, Community Training, and International Collaboration

Selected abstracts will be presented as interactive presentations, utilising state-of-the-art infrastructure to foster engaging discussions. Additionally, these presentations will have the opportunity to compete in the prestigious IP Competition, with awards recognising outstanding contributions.
