The National Space Programme Management Office (GGPEN), in collaboration with Stellenbosch University, Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Namibia University of Science and Technology, and Namibia Institute of Space Technology, is organising the 13th Micro/Nano/Pico Satellite Symposium and the 10th UNISEC Global Meeting. The event, themed “Innovations in Architecture, Technologies, and Education,” will be hosted at Stellenbosch University in the Western Cape, South Africa, from 25-29 November 2024.

The Nano-Satellite Symposium, an integral part of the “Hodoyoshi Project” funded by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), occurred in Tokyo in 2010. This year marks the first time the event will be held on the African continent and only the third time outside Japan. The symposium offers a unique opportunity for the global academic and scientific community to come together, share discoveries, and explore new frontiers in space exploration.
