SARAO is inviting innovators, entrepreneurs, SMMEs and community members to the Global Entrepreneurship Celebration. At the event, SARAO will launch the Karoo Innovation Challenge, with the aim to foster a culture of entrepreneurship and collaboration through innovative ideas that provide solutions to pressing societal issues.
The event will run from the 14th – 18th of November 2022, at the Sassa Hall in Carnarvon, where participants are invited to listen and observe finalists pitch their ideas.
The winners will receive free training on pitching ideas from the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA), gain access to incubation and business development programs to support the ideas, and be awarded cash prizes.
The aim of the Karoo Innovation Challenge is to foster a culture of entrepreneurship and collaboration by generating innovative ideas that provide solutions to pressing societal issues and have an economic benefit.
