Astronomy in Colour is a community that is actively working to transform astronomy to make it more inclusive and welcoming for all. As part of their official launch, AiC is inviting participants for their first speaker series: Trailblazers.
Through this series, AiC will be highlighting women who have a passion for science, transformation in STEM as well as respect in the academic space. The talks will include research in various fields of astronomy and physics, and personal testimonies about being a woman in STEM. There will also be an opportunity for participants to ask the speakers questions during the discussion session.
The series will be graced with speakers from various universities in South Africa and abroad.
