On 19 April 2023, Eumetsat will host a virtual short course on “ Climate data records of cloud properties”. During the course, participants will get the chance to learn from the Satellite Application Facility on Climate Monitoring (CM SAF) experts about all the important features and highlights of the data record. Furthermore, during the hands-on session, users can start working with the data to get insights into data handling and formats.
After the event, Eumetsat wants participants to be able to remember essential features of the CLAAS-3 data record and its improvements compared to its predecessor. Attendees should know the data format and how to start working with the data. One measure of the successful short course would be a quantifiable increase in the download numbers of the CLAAS-3 data.
