Attend IAC’s Plenary Programme on Strategic Direction of Emerging Space Nations

During the upcoming 74th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2023) in Baku, Azerbaijan, scheduled for October 2-6, 2023, a plenary programme titled “Strategic Direction of Emerging Space Nations” will explore significant inquiries to illuminate the status and priorities of emerging space nations. These inquiries include: 

  • The reasons behind the decision of selected countries to engage in space activities and the factors driving their governments’ support for these initiatives. 
  • What motivates emerging nations to explore opportunities in space increasingly?

During the programme, speakers will also elaborate on the global significance of their respective national space programmes. Moreover, the goal is to understand whether a standardised strategic approach exists among emerging space nations or if unique strategies and motivations characterise their efforts.
