The European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT) is organising a user forum in Africa to strengthen the already well-established dialogue between EUMETSAT and African user communities, particularly National Meteorological Services, to optimise the use of the organization’s satellite data and products in Africa. Furthermore, while EUMETSAT presents its key activities and initiatives in Africa, the forum provides an excellent opportunity for African users to formulate recommendations that will be actively taken into account by EUMETSAT to prepare for future activities.
