Call for Applications – AfNWA National Points of Contact

The African Network of Women in Astronomy (AfNWA) is launching an initiative to establish AfNWA National Points of Contact (AfNWA-NPOC) in each African country. This initiative aims to strengthen women’s representation in astronomy by having local representatives coordinate activities and engagement efforts.

As an AfNWA-NPOC, you will represent AfNWA in your country, supporting our mission, organising local activities, and fostering engagement with women and girls in astronomy and STEM fields.

About AfNWA

The African Network for Women in Astronomy (AfNWA) is an initiative that aims to connect women working in astronomy and related fields in Africa. It was established in September 2020 as one of the committees under the African Astronomical Society.
