Dragonfly Aerospace is announcing an Award Programme for young innovative projects working on Earth observation.
One of the key elements in establishing an Earth observation system is the imaging payload. Thus, Dragonfly will offer one of its compact high-resolution Caiman imagers for the upcoming satellite mission, which aims to monitor and protect our shared global natural resources.
Conditions of the competition
The Dragonfly Aerospace Award Programme will hold from June 1, 2021, to October 31, 2021. The contest is open to commercial start-ups as well as non-profit, non-commercial organizations, including university programmes. Additionally, the winning team must have an existing funded mission that will launch before December 31, 2022.
To take part, a team representative must submit an application to award@dragonflyaerospace.com, providing the following information:
- First/Last Name
- Contact info
- Organisation
- Mission status: date of launch, launch confirmation
- Mission description
- Existing/potential Partners
- Where applicant plans to use the obtained data
- What are the unique insights that your project will gather into the health of the planet and bring the most benefit to the Earth and humanity?
Also, applicants may fill in the online form instead.
If applicants provide sufficient information, the applicant will consequently receive an email confirming their eligibility to participate in the Award Program.

The Award jury will consist of the experienced representatives of Dragonfly Aerospace:

Dragonfly Aerospace will announce the winner on November 30, 2021.
