EgSA is Organising a Satellite Systems Design and Development Programme

The Egyptian Space Agency, in conjunction with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, is organising the “Design and Development of Satellite Systems” project to support graduation projects in Egyptian universities and calling for interested students and teams to apply.

The project aims to build human capacities, spread knowledge, promote work in satellites and space technology among Egyptian university students, and improve competitiveness among universities to generate highly qualified specialists and scientists to be the future of space activities in Egypt.

Registration Conditions:

1. Students applying for the project must be final-year students of engineering, computer science and science faculties of Egyptian universities,
2. The number of students registered in each project should not be less than five students,
3. A representative of each group (which is not less than five students) must register for the group as a whole and choose only one project from the projects in the registration link,
4. Registration for the project will close on December 31, 2023, or when the required number is completed.

Students accepted for the project will be contacted immediately after the selection of participating groups. Furthermore, the groups participating in the project are obligated to register the selected project as a graduation project at the university/college within a month from the date of being informed of their selection of the project and submit the registration.
