Ethiopian Space Science Society is inviting students between 15-19-year-old for a 2-weeks space school session at Houston, Texas between July 19-August 3, 2020.
Requirement
Applicants must submit the following to apply:
- A personal resume or CV
- An essay that includes the following:
(a) A paragraph that outlines how you learned about the United Space School Program and why you would like to attend
(b) A list of 3 reasons why you think we should sed humans to explore Mars, include sufficient details to support your position. Also, include in your answer why we should risk lives and why the monetary investment is justified.
(c) A list o 5 challenges that you think humanity would face on a Mars mission. Include the cost factors and the budget risk to the crew. Give details on each and potential solutions to these challenges.
- A letter of recommendation from a teacher, principal, manager or headmaster.
