GGPEN is offering two scholarships for the third edition of the Satellite Communication course: Radiofrequency Fundamentals, VSAT Antennas Installation and Maintenance Procedures, which will start in August 2022.
The opportunity is for graduates of courses in Telecommunications, Information Technologies, Electrical Engineering and similar areas, with a final grade equal to or greater than 15 values. The training, aimed at companies and individuals, is a partnership between the Management Office of the National Space Program (GGPEN) and the Instituto Superior Politécnico de Tecnologias e Ciências (ISPTEC) for the expansion of training actions in Science, Technology and Space Industry, creation of national technological and human competences and the transfer of technology and know-how, within the framework of the Angolan national space programme.
Its objective is to provide experts in the field with solid knowledge of the fundamentals and techniques used in satellite communication. The classes are fully on-site and will take place at the ISPTEC facilities and at the Radiofrequency Laboratory, at the Satellite Control and Mission Center (MCC) in Funda.
The Satellite Communication course, Radiofrequency Fundamentals, VSAT Installation and Maintenance Procedures, has the institutional support of the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication (MINTTICS), within the scope of the National Space Education Program.
