PAU Announces Launch of Scholarship Call for 2021-2022 Academic Year

The Pan African University (PAU) is announcing the launch of the Scholarship Call for applications for the 2021-2022 academic year. This call will subsequently run from the 15th of June to the 30th of July 2021.

Joining PAU is a unique opportunity for young Africans to nurture quality and targeted higher education. Furthermore, it will help young Africans mature their skills and Pan African spirit. The University will also provide these Africans with exposure in Africa and beyond. Online registrations are currently ongoing, thus, interested persons should click here to apply.

PAU is an initiative of the Heads of State and Government of the African Union. Furthermore, it is a Premier continental university network with the mission of providing quality postgraduate education geared towards the achievement of a prosperous, integrated and peaceful Africa. Consequently, PAU is inviting young, qualified, talented and enterprising applicants from African countries and the African Diaspora to apply to join Masters or PhD degree programmes. In addition candidates with potential, motivation and who desire to play transformative leadership roles as academics, professionals, industrialists, innovators and entrepreneurs are particularly encouraged to apply.

In addition, the African Union Commission identified critical themes within the five institutes of PAU, as key to the development of Africa and attainment of the vision of the African Union. The following PAU Institutes host these critical themes:

  • Water and Energy Sciences (including Climate Change) (PAUWES, Algeria);
  • Basic Science, Technology and Innovation (PAUSTI, Kenya);
  • Life and Earth Sciences (including Health and Agriculture) (PAULESI, Nigeria);
  • Governance, Humanities and Social Sciences (PAUGHSS, Cameroon);
  • Space Sciences (PAUSS, South Africa).
