The International Astronomical Union (IAU), on behalf of the Regional Center for Space Science and Technology Education for Western Asia/United Nations (RCSSTE-WA) and the Arab Union for Astronomy and space sciences (AUASS), is inviting participants for the Fifth Middle-East and Africa Regional IAU Meeting (MEARIM V 2020) titled “Astronomy education and research for the future generations”, which will be held at the period November 10-12, 2020. In light of the continued impact of COVID-19 the meeting will be held through the virtual platform of the RCSSTE-WA using the ZOOM app.
