South African space company, ZASpace Inc., will host a virtual industry event themed- “Space Infrastructure Hub: Industry Update”. The virtual event will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 by 14:00pm – 16:00pm (SAST).
The realisation of the space infrastructure hub (SIH) is an aspiration that has united everyone over the past several months. Whilst there is much to be celebrated due to the individual successes achieved by our leading organisations over this time – ZASPACE remains optimistic that the SIH will serve as the catalyst to reclaim South Africa’s global positioning in this exciting and rapidly growing sector.
ZASPACE would like to invite the general public to join Dr Valanathan Munsami and the South African National Space Agency (SANSA) leadership for an update on the progress towards the SIH and other relevant points. This open industry engagement will seek to relay feedback and progress on a few points:
- SANSA response to the SIH Industry Consultation report compiled by ZASPACE;
- Progress towards the SIH Bankable Feasibility Study;
- Making co-creation real – how will the industry interact with SANSA; and
- New developments within SANSA, SANSA’s new Business Model including a pipeline of projects
ZASPACE will look to run this as an interactive session with opportunities for Q&A. If you would like specific points to be addressed, please share your thoughts via email at info@zaspaceinc.org.
This is an open event, please save the Zoom link to your calendar.
