The African Aeronautics and Space Organisation (AASO) will be hosting a webinar on “Women in Aerospace” on May 27, 2021.
The webinar, moderated by Leone Ouedraogo, will host five women with impressive backgrounds in aerospace. They will share their academic and professional backgrounds with the audience.
The speakers are:
- Dr Anne Marie Mainguy, adviser to the president of the French National Space Agency (CNES),
- Dr Abimbola Alale, CEO of Nigerian Communication Satellite (NIGCOMSAT),
- Mrs Souad Elmallem, Executive partner at 6termik,
- Dr Nana Ama Browne-Klutse, Senior Lecturer, Physics Department at the University of Ghana.
- Mrs Edith Mala Diop, Senior airline pilot officer
The Webinar will take place from 04:00 PM – 06:00 PM GMT on May 27, 2021.
