This programme is designed to enhance your understanding of the DUNIA platform further, primarily focusing on introducing all participants to the Dunia Sandbox. This training will significantly boost your operational efficiency while using the Dunia platform.

By creating projects with the Dunia Sandbox, developers can access a convenient and accessible platform for research, development, and service deployment. This sandbox environment, accessible directly from web browsers, offers a wealth of free Earth Observation (EO) datasets and tools. This tool empowers users to create customised solutions within their dedicated virtual space, enhancing their capabilities and productivity.
The training will cover various topics, including:
- Introduction and recap to the Dunia platform
- Setting up a personal environment on the Dunia platform
- Conducting data searches within the Sandbox
- Analysing and visualising with the personal desktop environment (e.g. QGIS)
- Uploading/downloading files to/from JupyterLab
- Overview of useful tools and capabilities
- Examples and hands-on in the Dunia Sandbox
