The Egyptian Space Agency (EgSA), in collaboration with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, has officially announced the registration opening for the “Design and Development of Satellite Systems” project for the 2024/2025 academic year. This initiative aims to support final-year graduation projects at Egyptian universities, particularly in engineering, computing, and sciences.
Aims of the Project
- The programme will enhance knowledge dissemination, promote hands-on work in space technology, and foster a sense of healthy competition among Egypt’s universities.
- Ultimately, the goal is to produce a new generation of specialists and scientists with the skills and competencies to lead the country’s future space activities.
Registration Requirements and Eligibility
To participate, students must meet the following criteria:
- Eligibility: The project is open to students in their final year from engineering, computing, sciences, and related fields.
- Team Structure: Each project team must have at least five students.
- Group Registration: One representative from each group is responsible for registering the entire group and selecting one project from the options provided through this registration link.
- Registration Deadline: The final registration date is October 31, 2024, or earlier if the required number of participants is reached.

Commitment to the Project
