The Egyptian Space Agency (EgSA) has announced the application process opening for the fourth cycle of its African Annual Training Programme. This initiative is part of EgSA’s ongoing efforts to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing between Egypt and African nations in the space sector.
The two-week training programme begins on January 12, 2025, and is designed to enhance human resource capabilities in satellite development across Africa. It is a joint effort between EgSA and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development (EAPD), reflecting Egypt’s commitment to promoting space technology development and cooperation across the continent.
Eligibility and Application Process
- Eligibility: The programme is open to all African nationalities residing in their home countries.
- Application Deadline: Applications must be submitted by October 17, 2024, at 1:00 PM Cairo Local Time.
