The Angolan National Space Programme Management Office (Gabinete de Gestão do Program Espacial Nacional – GGPEN) is recruiting interested persons for paid internship roles. The Office intends to recruit five interns with opportunities for Satellite Operations (3 vacancies); Development of space applications (1 vacancy), and Law and space policy (1 vacancy).
The internship will last for six months. Furthermore, it is located at the GGPEN headquarters – Clássicos do Talatona Administrative Complex, Rua do MAT, Edifício Nº3, 6º Andar, Belas – Luanda, and for the Control and Satellite Mission (MCC), at Funda, also in Luanda
Qualifications
Qualification in some or all of these is essential, depending on the opportunity you seek:
- Electrical Engineering and similar areas;
- Computer Science or Data Science;
- Aerospace Engineering (guidance and navigation system, flying vehicle control system, aviation and similar);
- Space engineering systems;
- Law and International Relations;
- Space policy and law;
- Space Applications Developer (navigation and earth observation);
- Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Proficiency in the English language will be an advantage.

The National Space Programme Management Office is a personalized service created to manage and monitor the development of the National Space Program. The Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communications (MINTTICS) supervises the Office. GGPEN focuses on the activities inherent to the production, launch and operation of the Angolan satellite ANGOSAT-2 and the creation of the bases for structuring the National Space Programme.
