The Egyptian satellite company, Nilesat, is hiring a Sales Engineer (SE) who will report to the Marketing Manager to achieve target sales goals. A successful SE will leverage their commercial and technical knowledge to drive sales growth in the MENA and Southern parts of Africa. This individual must perform well in a team environment and have exceptional customer-facing skills that advance customer experience and sales goals.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Execute sales activities in the MENA and southern part of Africa.
  2. Proactively schedule in-person and remote sales meetings.
  3. Develop new customer relationships and expand presence at existing accounts.
  4. Identify and advance new business opportunities through the sales process.
  5. Conduct effective discovery calls to uncover and understand customer needs that leverage a suitable solution.
  6. Utilise appropriate internal resources based on industry, application type, and customer need.
  7. Present solutions designed to help customers be more innovative and competitive in their market.
  8. Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and drive business to close.

Application Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in communication and electronics engineering.
  2. Deep understanding of related products, services, or technologies being sold.
  3. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  4. Experience with configuring, testing, and demonstrating products or solutions.
  5. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and propose solutions.
  6. Demonstrated sales experience and a history of exceeding sales targets.
  7. Proven track record in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles.
  8. Ability to close deals and negotiate contracts.
  9. Understanding of industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.
