Momentum continues to build for Space Summit 2026, with six more key Singapore government agencies confirmed as official supporting organisations. In addition to the Economic Development Board (EDB) and the Office for Space Technology & Industry (OSTIn), the Summit is now endorsed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA), Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), Singapore Exhibition and Convention Bureau (SECB), and SGInnovate.
This growing support from key government and industry leaders, including confirmed participation from overseas space agencies such as the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB), German Aerospace Center (DLR), Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), Malaysian Space Agency (MYSA), Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA), and the United Arab Emirates Space Agency (UAESA), cements the Summit’s role as a critical global platform for the space domain.
The premier two-day conference and exhibition, taking place from 2-3 February 2026 at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands, will convene policymakers, space agencies, investors and innovators from around the world to chart a course for the responsible and inclusive growth of the global space economy, a sector projected to soar to USD 1.8 trillion by 2035.
Strong Government and Industry Support
The participation of Singapore agencies such as CAAS, DSTA, EDB, IMDA, MPA, OSTIn and SGInnovate reflects the vital role of space technology across so many industries in Singapore and across the region. Space Summit 2026 will explore critical areas where space intersects with traditional sectors—from helping manage air and sea operations to establishing the digital and regulatory foundations for next-generation connectivity. Space-based innovation can drive smarter infrastructure, more secure networks, and sustainable growth.
The Summit will also explore how technologies developed for commercial space can be used in the defence sector and vice versa. Meanwhile, Singapore technology and engineering company ST Engineering, a leader in advanced Earth-observation satellites and geospatial analytics, has joined as a Founding Partner.
The Summit has also attracted a growing list of participating companies. In addition to key primes, companies from growing space markets in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East will also attend. These include companies across the space value chain, ranging from launch and manufacturing to subsystems, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and analytics, and more. Participating companies include: Airbus, Capella Space, Cesium Astro, Eartheye Space, ELT Group, Glenair, Leonardo, Leolabs, LightHaus Photonics, MEDs Technologies, Perigee, Pixxel Space, SATORO, Space42, SpeQtral, Synspective, TME Systems, Transcelestial, Umbra Space, and Zero Error Systems.
Advancing Asia-Pacific’s Role in the Global Space Economy
Under the theme “New Frontiers: Shaping a Responsible and Inclusive Space Future”, Space Summit 2026 will feature high-level plenary panels on space infrastructure, sustainability, investment and the emerging in-space economy. Held in conjunction with the Singapore Airshow 2026, one of the world’s most influential aerospace gatherings, the Summit will enable cross-sector engagement across aviation, connectivity and defence technologies.
