Following a successful call for abstracts, registration for the 2021 Global Space Exploration Conference (GLEX 2021) is now open. The Conference is set to hold on June 14—18, 2021, in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
The International Astronautical Federation (IAF) is the organiser of GLEX 2021 and the Roscosmos State Corporation for Space Activities (Roscosmos), the Russian Federation’s state corporation responsible for space flights and aerospace research, is the hosting agency.
According to the statement released by the IAF, over 570 abstracts from 59 countries were received, which is a 30% increased from the GLEX 2020 abstract submission rate. The International Programme Committee would select the excellent abstracts and reach out to the authors in March.
Early bird registration for GLEX 2021 is open until March 16, 2021. Register here.
GLEX 2021 also marks the 60th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s Space Flight. The global space community is invited to the conference to meet and reconnect and reflect on the trends, challenges and opportunities in space exploration.
With 36 technical sessions spanning 12 tracks, GLEX 2021 is designed to cover all aspects of space exploration and its related disciplines. “Each time we bring our community together, we are overwhelmed by the passion, expertise, and creativity of our authors”, IAF said. “The conference will be the ultimate place to discover the latest projects, technologies and cooperation opportunities while showcasing the most influential and thought-provoking leaders and thinkers in space exploration today”.
Beside the high-calibre technical presentations and excellent networking opportunities, delegates will also benefit from prestigious plenaries, engaging IAF Global Networking Forum sessions, an exhibition and many exciting social events.
