Registrations are now open for the NewSpace Africa Conference 2023. The conference, which aims to address the opportunities, challenges and trends in the African space and satellite industry to facilitate agenda-setting and nudge stakeholders in the direction of innovative solutions for the African continent for socio-economic development in Africa, will be held in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire from 23rd to 26th of April 2023. 

Organised by Space in Africa, in collaboration with the African Union Commission and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Cote d’Ivoire, it’s a high-level conference gathering industry leaders, academia, national space agencies and other critical stakeholders to share insights and ideas for the growth and development of the African space industry.

The conference will cover operational topics on policies, research, trends, future outlooks, and all segments of the African space and satellite industry. In addition, the event will feature various networking opportunities and interactive sessions, including business pitch sessions, exhibitions, and selected keynotes.

The in-person event will have leaders of national space agencies, the African Union Commission, NewSpace companies, policymakers and government officials, satellite manufacturers and operators, venture capitalists and angel investors, and the academia in attendance. It will also explore new developments, and discussions and initiate solution-centric actions.
