Apply for the 2022 EGSA Internship Programme

The Egyptian Space Agency (EGSA) is looking to recruit interns that will undergo a three-month practical training program at the Agency’s facility in Cairo, which aims to host fresh graduates from Egyptian universities to build practical capabilities by taking part in real space projects.

The training programme dubbed the “EgSA Gateway programme” allows the successful to learn the latest space technology trends and practices while making personal connections with space industry leaders. In Addition, the incumbents will discover what the space industry looks like and gain knowledge from EgSA’s niche technology development, and learn the latest and more innovative trends and practices within the industry from EgSA’s laboratories.

In addition, this programme offers fresh graduates the opportunity to participate in a work-based training program. The EgSA Gateway programme provides academic enrichment, work experience, and cultural experience for students and young professionals.

Also, the training would allow participants to join the SPNEX project, which aims to build a satellite to measure plasma in the ionosphere, and the ClimCam project, an international project to develop a space camera system to be placed on the International Space Station.

Lastly, at the end of the three-month programme, the trainees would be handed a certificate from the agency stating the projects they contributed to and their level of performance.
